White sun hat - Chapéu de sol branco

I wanted to try this pattern for a while,

a sun hat ideal for a little child, not for my big kids…

One of these days, I went to my favorite fabric store in Coimbra

and I faced the perfect, perfect fabric to make this hat.

I called immediately my friend N. and asked if she

needed a nice white hat for her two year old little one,

and ta-dah!

The opportunity that I needed and I love the final

result, even if it needed some adjustments

in the size and in the straps. I sewed one button in one

of the straps and then I cut the longer strap.

Eu queria experimentar este modelo há algum tempo,
um chapéu de sol ideal para uma criança pequenina,
mas não para os meus miúdos crescidos…

Um destes dias, estava eu na minha loja preferida

de tecidos de Coimbra e encontrei o tecido perfeito,

simplesmente perfeito, para este chapéu.

Liguei logo à minha amiga N. e perguntei-lhe se

precisava de um chapéu branco para a sua

menina de dois anos, e… ta-dah! A oportunidade

que eu precisava para o fazer. Adorei o resultado

final, mesmo precisando de alguns ajustes

no tamanho e no comprimento das fitas de atar.

No final, cosi um botão numa das fitas
e cortei a fita mais comprida.
