Celebrating a new season (II)

I'm having a great pleasure, searching the colors

 that make me think about the new season,

instead of crying about the one that is ending.

Goodbye to the yellow beach sand,

goodbye to the blue ocean

and goodbye to the white summer afternoons... 

And what can be best than to search

for the fashion trends, to find ideas to organize or

to switch to energetic foods?

All of this inspiring me for the colors that I elected:

Orange, Grey and Brown.

Perfect!

Following the challenge Celebrate Color,
I started to find some inspiration. 

At home, I searched for my colour palette:

I had three zippers to choose from:
brown, orange and yellow.

At the same time, I wanted to do something
with this orange flowers fabric at left.
Also, I couldn't decide between those brown fabrics at the center...
The usual "indecision of colours"!!!

So, I decided to start sewing.
The inspiration will come along....

And I also decided for a little pocket inside...



...and to round up the corners, with the help of
a dessert plate:

Now it is ready to make the final assembling!

Finished!

Perfect, to start the new season,
celebrating the color!

Estou a gostar muito do desafio de
escolher as cores que me fazem lembrar
a nova estação do ano que aí vem,
em vez de chorar pela que está a terminar.
Adeus ao amarelo da areia da praia,
adeus ao azul do oceano e
adeus às tardes brancas de verão…

Escolhi umas fotos para me inspirar,
a partir das cores que escolhi para o Outono:
laranja, cinza e castanho.
Chegada a casa, escolhi alguns pedaços
de tecido para me inspirar e mãos à obra!
Como não me consegui inspirar desde logo,
comecei a coser e a inspiração logo viria...
Umas horas depois, aqui está uma simpática
bolsa para celebrar a nova estação que aí
